Warranty

The Perfect Board (“TPB”) warrants that its cutting board products (the “Products”) will be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of purchase or date of delivery, whichever is later.

This warranty applies only to Products purchased directly from The Perfect Board or from an authorized TPB reseller in the United States, unless otherwise prohibited by law. TPB cannot control the quality of Products sold by unauthorized sellers and therefore reserves the right to reject warranty claims for Products purchased from unauthorized sellers, including unauthorized online marketplaces.

What This Warranty Covers

This limited warranty covers manufacturing defects related to:

• 
  The cutting board surface
  
• 
  The frame system
  
• 
  Assembly and material integrity under normal household use
  

At TPB’s discretion, valid warranty claims will be resolved by replacement of the Product or, if the original Product is no longer available, a comparable product of equal type and quality.

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from:

• 
  Normal wear and tear
  
• 
  Improper use, misuse, or abuse
  
• 
  Accidental or intentional damage
  
• 
  Improper cleaning, including dishwasher use (unless explicitly stated as dishwasher-safe)
  
• 
  Exposure to extreme heat, cold, moisture, or humidity
  
• 
  Prolonged water exposure or soaking
  
• 
  Failure to follow care and maintenance instructions
  
• 
  Unauthorized modification, alteration, or repair
  
• 
  Cosmetic changes to natural wood products, including but not limited to color variation, grain variation, minor warping, or surface marks consistent with normal use
  

Natural wood characteristics are not considered defects. Acacia wood is a natural material and variations in color, grain, and texture are normal and expected.

Warranty Eligibility

This warranty is limited to the original end-user purchaser or gift recipient of the Product within the United States. Proof of purchase may be required to submit a warranty claim.

Products purchased as clearance, seconds, refurbished, or marked “as-is” are not covered under this warranty.

Shipping & Returns for Warranty Claims

If TPB determines that return of the Product is necessary to evaluate or process a warranty claim:

• 
  The customer is responsible for all packing and shipping costs unless otherwise required by law.

  TPB may require photos or additional documentation before approving a replacement.
  

Limitation of Liability

TPB’s obligation under this warranty is limited solely to replacement of the Product. TPB shall not be liable for any incidental, indirect, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Product.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

Implied Warranties

Any implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the one (1) year term of this limited warranty.

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so this limitation may not apply to you.

Legal Rights

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
